Located in South Texas in the small agricultural community of Linn, HM Cattle Co. is a cattle operation headed by Hondo and Caroline Martinez, a young ranching couple who is dedicated to providing quality commercial Brangus females and registered Brahman cattle. With 7 generations of agricultural pioneers before us, HM Cattle Co. is purposefully and carefully advancing the agricultural industry by way of cattle and land. We strive to meet the demands of our customers and the beef industry by way of providing performance driven cattle and meticulously planned land improvement services.

 HM Cattle Co. operates in a three-county area in the Rio Grande Valley on approximately 9,000 acres with our headquarters located in Linn, TX, directly off of Highway 281. At our headquarters and through our website, we take the opportunity to show our customers the quality selection of cattle we have for sale and services we offer.

Throughout the year we attempt to maintain a steady inventory of Brangus replacement females to be used in a variety of ranching programs: cow/calf, surrogates for registered programs, etc. The Brangus females are hand selected for uniformity, docility, and performance. Through our backgrounding program which consists of a custom feed ration and consistent vaccinations, we are able to provide the market a female who is ready to perform in any breeding operation and promise only quality. We firmly believe in integrating the polled trait to the Brahman breed so as to decrease costs and risks of dehorning cattle. While there if room for advancement to all Brahman cattle, specifically the polled Brahmans, we see an opportunity to provide an animal which is superior to the generation before!
